December 31-Day 4

Our 'annual junk food party' for New Year's eve with the kids....this was round one! lol

Birthday cakes are in the oven for tomorrow and the milkshake/ice cream sundae toppings are on the counter for treats in a little while.

Hard to believe our "baby" will be 15 tomorrow......yikes!

Monday-Day 2

This was the view on the wall this afternoon after the kids and Annalee worked on blankets to donate to Project Linus from their 4-H club. They were hoping to get these done before the holidays, but somehow we couldn't find the time to get them done.

After sharing them with the rest of our 4-H club at the next meeting, we will drop these off in Grand Rapids so they can be distrubted to area hospitals.

Decided to start a little early!

With the new project 365 that I want to start to document our 'every day' life, I thought I would start a few days early....so that I have seven photos from this week for the first part of my scrapbook. Guess I don't want to start mid-week!

These two ornaments are my favorites and every year they bring back a bunch of special memories. My mom made the toothpick ornament for me when I was nine years old...it has travelled with me through several moves over the years and looks a little worse for wear, but when I see my mom's handwriting on the back I find myself flooded with memories!

I'm hoping that my photography skills just might improve over the next year....we'll have to see!

Trying to start the new year right! lol

I know a lot of you have asked for me to try and keep up a blog so you can follow what our family is up to....so here is my attempt!

Gonna start a photo a day project or project 365 starting in January, as a way to document every day life with our family....so hopefully on the first, we'll have some photos to share!
